Together we stand against gender based violence

Engr. Fatima Faruk Launches the 2024 16 Days of Activism Campaign

The Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs, Fatima Faruk, has launched the 2024 16 Days of Activism Campaign, reaffirming her commitment to eliminating violence against women and girls. This year’s theme, “UNiTE! to End Violence against Women”, emphasizes the importance of collective action to create a society where every woman and girl can live safely and with dignity. As part of the campaign, Fatima will tour four Northwest states, championing the Girl In School Outreach (GISO) to support schoolgirls with educational materials.

Her activities will include visiting federal correctional facilities across the four states to donate essential sanitary and hygiene products. Additionally, she would be advocating against gender-based violence through the OrangeHope Outreach Program, and promoting hygiene awareness and dignity for women and girls.
Join us as we amplify these efforts to end gender-based violence.
