Advancing Women’s Health: Collaborative Efforts with NPHCDA

On April 24, 2024, Engr. Fatima Faruk, the Special Assistant to the President on Women’s Affairs (SAPWA), held a brief meeting with Mallam Hassan Karofi, the Director of Programs, dRPC, to discuss the new social accountability context of Primary Health Care (PHC) service delivery. This is in line with the propose collaboration between SAPWA office and National Primary Health Development Agency (NPHCDA) on the new accountability framework on PHC service delivery to monitor and improve access to primary health care services for women’s health through the Basic Health Care Provision Fund, as approved by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
