The 3MTT/ HerTechHub is an ongoing program by the Ministry of Communications in collaboration with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs to empower people with tech skills across Nigeria. The SA wants to champion the female participants involved in the program and empower them on International Women’s Day with opportunities such as receiving laptops, tablets and internship opportunities across Nigeria.

In addition, a pitching contest will be conducted, offering participants the opportunity to compete for a cash grant of 6 million Naira. Participants also stand a chance to win laptops, tablets, internship opportunities and grants. The program comprises two distinct challenges and submissions should be made via the application section of this page.

Challenge 1 – So Far What I Have Learned

This entails inviting women and girls of the 3MTT community to share their accomplishments and newly acquired knowledge.

To qualify

  • Record a video of yourself or using voiceovers, showcasing what you’ve learnt during the 3MTT Training.
  • Videos should be uploaded to the respective social media platforms of participants using the hashtag #sofarwhatihavelearned #hertechhubX3mtt #sapwaiwd2024.

Challenge 2 – CommuniTech

In this challenge, participants are required to provide innovative solutions to problems faced in their communities using skills acquired during the 3MTT Training

To qualify

  • The solution should be uploaded via a link.
  • Solutions must be tailored to the needs of the community.
