Problem The 2018 Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) report revealed troubling facts about violence against women in Nigeria. It showed that 31% of Nigerian women aged 15 to 49 have experienced physical violence, and 9% have faced sexual violence. Additionally, 36% of ever-married women reported spousal violence (SV), and at least 20% underwent Female Genital Mutilation.
