Strategic Collaboration to Equip Girls’ Schools and Female Correctional Facilities with Essential Resources

On February 13, 2025, Engr. Fatima Faruk, Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs, met with H.E, Amb. Prof. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq, Chairperson of the Nigeria Governors’ Spouses Forum (NGSF), to discuss strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives. This meeting marks another step towards empowering women, children, and marginalized communities, and paved the way for sustainable impact and positive change.

The discussion centered on equipping girls’ schools with skills acquisition infrastructure such as computer labs and other crafts equipment like knitting and sewing machines, while the female prisons will be equipped with essential resources and amenities to enhance the livelihoods and rehabilitation of women inmates across Nigeria.
