Education is the foundation for change and every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow and thrive.
The Girls in School Outreach (GISO) Program is dedicated to improving access to quality education for schoolgirls in Northern Nigeria. By providing educational materials, scholarships, and support, we aim to reduce dropout rates and create brighter opportunities for the next generation of women leaders.
Following the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Campaign, the Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs, Engr. Fatima Faruk, has commenced the Girls in School Outreach (GISO) initiative in the North West region of Nigeria. As part of this year’s campaign, she will visit schools in Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, and Jigawa to donate educational materials, engage students on the importance of education, and raise awareness about Sexual and Gender-Based Violence through the OrangeHope Program.
This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to empowering girls, promoting education, and fostering a future free from violence. Join us in supporting this transformative effort to help every girl stay in school and thrive.
